Phelan is the moderator for Kansas Preppers Network, and she also writes for the American Preppers Network blog. She also has per popular personal blog A Homesteading Neophyte. Phelan has been homesteading for years now and has been able to be almost totally self sufficient. We talked about her homestead, what she gardens, what animals she raises, and how they're working to move off the grid.
