LOCKPORT, NY– A 2.5 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Niagara County overnight.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the earthquake at 12:34am Friday.
2 On Your Side received dozens of phone calls and comments on Facebook shortly after the quake inquiring about a loud ‘boom’ that shook homes.
Niagara County Sheriff’s office sent deputies to Olcott, Barker and Lockport, where several of the 911 calls came in from, to investigate and found nothing.
