Today briefing details recovery operations in the Mid-Atlantic states, how many people are without power, how many shelters are open, and what the current level of occupancy to these shelters.
Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan was also reported damage yesterday from Hurricane Sandy. They are reporting power outages and no shelters were activated
Kentucky is reporting over 3k power outages.
