Today’s briefing has a very in depth reports on the recovery operations for Hurricane Isaac. Some of the items mentioned in the report is shelter levels, power outage maps and flood levels.

Two more Hurricanes are in the Atlantic. Hurricane Kirk, poses no threat to the US however Hurricane Leslie is project not to make US Landfall, however the direction the storm is moving and project movement could be a threat to the US eastern coast. This one needs to be monitored for any type of change.

During all this The Puerto Rico Region has also experienced a large cluster of earthquake activity, over 130 events, within two weeks. Nothing strong enough to worry about, but these “cluster” are beginning to occur on a regular basis all over the world. A close eye must be kept on these “clusters”
