Hurricane Gordon is a Cat 1 Hurricane and is moving towards Spain and the Canary Islands. This weather should help with the Canary Islands
wildfires.
TS Helena is hitting the Mexican Coast line and looks like it might produce some Tropical Depression Weather for the southern tip of Texas in the next day or two.
Indonesia suffered a 6.6M earthquake. There is no reports of damage or loss of life.
A Solar Flare (M5.5) erupted on the far side of the sun, this is not directed at the earth, but did cause a R2 radio blackout for earth.
