Periods of rain overnight could result in more flooding of small streams and poor drainage areas around Cleveland.

The rain will continue overnight as Sandy pulls further away from the region. “Overnight Wednesday, the low temperature will be near 40 degrees,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said.

“A shower or two could linger into the day on Thursday,” said Mussoline. A chilly westerly breeze will continue through the day keeping the temperatures in the upper 40s.
