with rodent and or their by-products.

Source Report “Hantavirus develops from breathing in particles transmitted by rodent droppings, urine or saliva. Early symptoms of hantavirus can include fever and muscle aches, chills, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and coughing. Symptoms can show up within one to six weeks after exposure. There is no specific treatment for the virus, and about one-third of people who contract it will die.”

Since there is no cure for this virus, then preparedness and prevention is extremely important. Avoidance is the preferred prevention measure, however you have to come in contact with rodent by-products then wearing a N-95 mask, rubber gloves and clean up with a 10% bleach solution is highly recommended.
