Two cases of Murine Typhus have been reported in Burbank, Ca. Both cases have been seen at local hospitals and have been treated and released. Murine Typhus is a Bio-Hazard level two virus, that is transmitted by fleas.
Be very cautious when dealing with rodents this year, for they are transmitting more and more diseases. The best preparedness method is to avoid all contact with rodents.
A wise man prepares for the darkness, while a fool plays. Don’t get caught playing.
